For No Slack Records’ 4th instalment of the “Seasons” ambient series, artists from the States, Germany, Brazil and South Korea came together. The result is a kaleidoscopic, cinematic, calming and chilly journey.

“Seasons 2021 (F/W)” compilation starts with a subtle, cinematic and ever evolving work “211112” by Keinseier, an electronic musician from Hamburg, Germany. Then, the compilation dives deep into a spiritual evoking track “Colossal” by Seoul based musician Jeongjeon.

The third track “Faith” by Seoul based artist Seiryun transports the compilation into a mind-expanding place with its warped arpeggios and etherial voices. The compilation then rests easy with Brazilian artist Navin Kala’s “Study Number 4 For a Third Album.”

The fifth track “Light” by artist Tony Greesee, who is based in the States, takes the album into a mysterious and psychedelic trip with its use of silence, bell sounds, pads and subtle percussion sequences. The track “1+1 Could Be Infinity” by Livigesh closes the album with its serenity.

“Seasons 2021 (F/W)” is like an elixir to the times of chaos and uncertainty.
