Sengle (Benjamin Cortes) had the tracks for “Seert” on an SD card, and at first he did not have a vision for how they should go together.
One day, he visited the Temple of literature in Hanoi with his daughter, and he saw very old trees reflected in the water pools. There, he had an epiphany about music in general.
In his words: “when you look at this pool of water, you can either look into the water and see fish and lotus roots, or look at the surface water and see the reflection of the trees and the sky. If you stop focusing on any of them, you can see them both and see fish swimming in the trees.”
His epiphany got him to achieve that in his music. And that resulted in the creation of the album “Seert”
